I’m happy with the phone. But I’m worried about the slowness of fixing existing bugs. Now I see problems with notifications. I see old notifications again, etc. I can live with them, but what if there is a more serious problem and the fix is slow? That’s the question. The team…

UPDATE: Our team has just informed me that the last batch of 1.6.1 has just rolled out. This means the update with the bugfix should, now, be available to all users- Both Global & NAM.
Head to SETTINGS>>>>Software Update in order to update your Mudita Kompakt.

I went from 1.6 to 1.6.1 and since then, my notification sounds aren’t working. My ringtone works fine, but post-update, I cannot hear anything when I receive a text. It vibrates instead, even though the volume is all the way up. I was using KompaktX for custom sounds, but even when I switch to the stock Mudita sounds, I can’t hear anything. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for flagging this. Help me understand what you’re experiencing. Are you seeing that your settings are still the same BUT the sound is just not audible? OR the settings somehow changed with the update.
I can’t comment as to what KompaktX does (I’ve never tried it), but I would ask you to check your settings, so that we can see what’s happening.
The settings were the same, but the sound wasn’t audible. I replaced my KompaktX ringtones with the stock Mudita ones, and everything worked fine. I then changed back to my Kompakt X ones and both the call and notification sounds work fine again. Must be something with KompaktX, but it is good to know that it can be solved just by going back to the stock sounds after the update and then adding the kompaktX ones later.
I appreciate the quick follow up and the work the Mudita team is doing!

So it seemed to work this morning, but I am back to no longer getting notification sounds, even when I use the stock ones. It will vibrate only, even though the sound is turned up. I’m a new user, so I can’t upload pics, but they show that everything is turned up/on, with Koshi 2 as the notification sound.

This is odd. I this case I would reach out to support. They would be able to tell what’s going on- whether it’s something the new update or it could very well be that there is some incompatibility with KompaktX. However, I’m not able to determine this. Our team will most likely request logs to see what’s happening behind the scenes to cause this.
thanks. I submitted a ticket. If I am typing and a text comes in, I receive a noise. But if I’m not typing it just vibrates. Weird.

Which might be problematic as the support form won’t allow him (? - apologies if incorrect) to tell the support people that he is on an OS version that does not appear on the form.

Head to your alarm app. When you set the alarm you’ll be able to choose the alarm sound and whether it vibrates.
