Mudita support not responding to emails

Hi There,

Last tuesday i have sent an email to Mudita support pointing out all the issues i’ve found after two days of using the phone and asking for any tips on how to fix some and if they have already had reports on those.

Then after no response from support and spam on forums with the same issues from other users i’ve requested a refund of the product, there is no response, will the time of the request for return (created as a ticket on the website) count or the time they respond to it?

I got one more week untill sunday for 14 day return and i would like to ask for some response in this matter.

Regards,
Sarten

It won’t count, they will let you return it, if you have reached out to them and its documented, which it is because you have emailed them, they will let you return it

Thanks for your input, i too think it should count as ticket for refund was created at 7 day after i got the package.

Also i work in an international company on a support desk and response time in our contracts is 1 hour, none of us ever failed it and its 5 people for europe, africa and usa clients with over 1000 sites, im surprised that i had no response to after 5 days of first email…

@sarten I’m sorry that you’re having to wait for a response. Please know that we are doing our best to get back to everyone as soon as we can. I have pinged our customer support to let them know that you are waiting for a response.

Thank you Urszula, if i get a response from support then this is my last message on the forum for some time.
It was a refreshing experience with this phone and i will keep monitoring it and checking future updates, maybe one day with kompakt v2 we’ll have better screen and loudspeaker which as a hardware cannot be fixed with update then i would have a perfect phone (as i trust that all software issues will be fixed in time).
As a fellow Polish i would rather pay a small company from my country than big corporations.

And thank you for your patience.

I put a call to my Kompakt on speakerphone mode yesterday and was frustrated by how low-volume it was. I kept checking my volume control to ensure that it was as high as possible.

I was in a quiet room only ten feet from someone else who could not hear the call with the Kompakt in speakerphone mode only ten feet away. Other cellphones never gave me this problem.

I found that even I had to hold the Kompakt close to me while it was in speakerphone mode!

I will try more speakerphone-mode calls with my Kompakt today.

I don’t like this, the Pure had volume issues it was so silent, wondering why this has not been improved, you have no problems with the ringtone though right? When you get phone calls they are loud enough to hear?

Ringtones are loud enough to hear when I get calls. I did not know that the Pure had volume issues.

Yeah you could never hear the phone unless it was dead quiet, outside on the street forget about it lol, but the vibration was strong

UPDATE: I just tried more speakerphone-mode calls with my Kompakt and was just as disappointed by the how low it sounds at the highest volume setting.

@urszula, is this something that your developers can improve? Or, is this a hardware limitation? I would love to know the answer this week, as this is my second week in my 14-day trial. Thanks.

@urszula, as a possible follow-up to ask your developers, I wonder whether the developers have set a volume limiter for the headphone output – so as to comply with EU regulations – but are perhaps unnecessarily using that same volume limiter for speakerphone output. From what I can tell, the EU regulations are for headphones but are NOT for a device’s built-in speaker (such as the Kompakt’s speakerphone).

@kirkmahoneyphd I will ask if this could be improved with software. To be honest, I very rarely take call on LOUDSPEAKER, but I do listen to podcasts & music & for me when it’s on loudspeaker at full capacity is it LOUD (for me- but maybe my hearing is super sensitive).

I will try record a phone call so you can compare.

@urszula: Thank you. I just tested an Audible book on the Kompakt’s speaker, and its volume at maximum was loud – the kind of volume that I expected from the Phone app in speakerphone mode.

So, the speaker itself seems to be capable of producing a sufficiently loud volume, but the Phone app seems to be using less than the full capacity of that speaker in speakerphone mode.

I’m kind of surprised to hear this. Personally I‘m able to have clear conversations on speaker phone, even while driving when I plop the phone on the passenger seat. I‘m able to hear everything over the traffic sounds and it‘s not even on 100%. If anything, I feel like it‘s too loud at times (ringtone) and I need to turn it down.

Yeah this is a good point I don’t take calls on a speaker ever so to me its. not a big deal, and from your video that sound is loud enough for me, sounds solid

Yeah I am finding from reviews all over the place that people have varying experiences, so I am not worried about the phone, I will just have to wait to get mine and experience it for myself, as I have said before as long as it can call and text it suits my needs

Radiation-wise, I no longer want to hold a cellphone to my head for calls, so speakerphone mode is important to me.

I didn’t encounter any problem with talking in speakerphone mode. This is my main way to talk via phone so I use this mode almost all the time (but in crowds I talk through normal mode, obviously). I wonder if low volume of your calls might be related to your carrier or something like that.

@kirkmahoneyphd This tells me it could be a software thing. I will definitely bring this up to the team.

@kirkmahoneyphd That video ( I just checked my settings) is not even on the highest volume. it’s about 80% there.
