Mudita pure or Kompakt?

Interested in finding out how many people that have the pure or had ordered and returned the pure in the past would keep the pure if it had none of the issues it had with connection etc. And also say they had updated the Calendar, would you have ordered the Kompakt or stuck with the Pure?

I honestly am not sure. I mean I have the Pure back now and I love it, but knowing the Kompakt has all these additional tools, working calendar. I am not sure if I would have kept the Pure.

I am grateful I get to use the pure for the next 5.5 months because now the wait for the Kompakt won’t seem long at all

Would Stuck with Pure since
a) I prefer advanced dumbphone concept to degoogled smartie
b) Cannot anyway have Kompakt delivered to my east European country due to no EU regulations. Plus I find HiSense A5 more advanced and mature and with a PlayStore
BUT “downers” (from We Happy Few game) arež

  • No batteries after warrany, even no repair
  • No willingness to fix existing features and Jubacca defense from South Park thats adding new features
  • Relatively high price of 300 USD with phone with no support and EOL
  • At time of return I was hoping to use money from KS, only to find out later it cant be done, so I got HiSense A5

I’d be more than happy to keep the Pure but would still have opted for the Kompakt. The ability to add calendar entries, have a fully functioning media player/library and a far better text inputting system outweigh the Pure for me.

Yeah as much as I LOVE the pure once I get my Kompakt I know I will love it even more, but I know I will use the Pure from time to time I JUST LOVE the physical buttons

Pure could have all that if more effort was put in it, in fact it was normal expectation but software was hasted and underdeveloped.
That is why I consider |“no new functions” as weak defense, as all Pure owners ask is to make existing right and proper. Oldest Nokias could do more on same functions.

Yeah I agree with you here, they did not do a good job of supporting the phone post launch, no major upgrades, no additional apps or tweaks to the apps on the phone, sort of just realized they screwed up and moved on to making a better phone with the Kompakt, in the end there is just not enough Pure users to justify tying up any resources to that phone, its a dead project simple as that

Its chicken and egg, there is not enough sales because both antenna and software are less then promoted and normally expected and good design and overall functions choice cant offset that. That is why I opt for just a bit more sw development for Harmony and Pure, even after Kompakt is mature. To me its question of morale.
Moving on would mean not selling it or refunding existing products, but selling it and not caring is just no no, beause up to this Kickstarter it essentialy funded Kompakt development.
If a bit more effort was put both products could exist parallely and even some small product run would be possible.
However some moves like VOLTE, dark theme and typing SMS via center has shown they put some mind to it.

But they are not selling it anymore, they are just moving out remaining stock from the outlet, why would they waste their time and resources supporting and updating a device that is EOL, their focus should be on the Kompakt, the Pure project is over.

Because they did not at the right time. Yes its remaining stock surely.
Nevermind, enjoy software that will never be fully developed.
