What happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay in Vegas!
I’m not sure if you guys know, but Mudita Kompakt made its big debut at CES 2025, the world’s largest tech event, held every January in Las Vegas.

It’s where all the coolest innovations in tech come together, and we’re so proud that Mudita Kompakt got its moment in the spotlight!
Here’s an article from a Hungarian outlet (you can translate it) and YT video from the event, so you can see how Mudita Kompakt is making waves with its mindful approach to technology.
Check them out here:
Even in the glitz and chaos of Las Vegas, simplicity and mindfulness stood out.

@mnrkr74 The E Ink on Mudita Kompakt is super-responsive. I’m testing it now, and I’m so impressed.

I like how brightly readable the screen is with the built-in light!

It looks sharp like the Harmony. Every night I use the Harmony and am constantly impressed with the screen. I mean sure, it needs to refresh, but looks so responsive and clean. I bet Kompakt gets some good reviews when it comes out.

Looks very nice! Is that the pebble grey version? That is the one I chose

Does the phone have your ringtone from the Mudita pure commercials?

I have to say Kirk it will be a tough decision to whether I let the Sunbeam Bluebird go for the Kompakt, I have really enjoyed my first week with this phone, I am more focused (read 3 books in a week) the phone has great directions on it via waze and the other directions app on it , basically acts like a webpage where you can look up locations and it gives you there phone numbers as well, its just like the directory on the light phone, These features are so useful for me and the Kopamkt will not have a directory, or very good directions that help you avoid traffic etc, the sunbeam really checks off all my boxes
Problem is Mudita kompakt just looks so damn nice lol, but I find when I really like a phone it distracts me more, I am worried I will get sucked into text messaging etc, although I have build up some good habits using the sunbeam so hopefully they would translate into my use of the Kompakt. You have used the Sunbeam for like 4 years now, are you not going to miss it?

@minimalist4life I think this might be the Natural While one. This video is a bit shadowy, so I can’t tell for sure.
I am approaching three years in June with the Orchid, Sundeep. I will miss the Premium service’s superb speech-to-text feature and live-traffic feature, so I hope that Mudita can eventually add those two features to the Kompakt.
I do not know how much I will miss the Premium service’s animated weather-RADAR map. It is nice but not as essential as the other two features.
I now wonder whether I will want to renew my $40/year Premium subscription even after I switch to the Kompakt, so that these Premium features are there whenever I want to move my SIM card back to the Orchid. I would prefer to pay Mudita for the same “Premium” features on the Kompakt. (Hint, hint, @urszula!)
