Mudita Kompact: Not able to add contacts to favorites?

All of my contacts are stored on my simcard. I was expecting that I can add them to the favorites but I do not see an option for that? Am I missing something or is this really not possible? On the favorites page I just see the button for creating new contacts.

When you click on the contact there is a star in the top right corner. That is how you add people to favorites.

Thanks for the quick reply! I do not see that star for almost all of my contacts. It only works for those contacts without the simcard icon. Why is there a difference?
