Mudita harmony backlight preference

I’m not sure if this is possible at all, but if it is, I would love to change the backlight tone to a more yellow tint than white tint. I find that especially at night, the blue hue hurts my eyes (in general), whereas the yellow tint/warmer tint is much more easy on them and doesn’t feel as bright. I currently have that setting on both my phone and computer and it would be lovely if my clock had it as well. Just figure I’d add my suggestion!

I completely understand where you’re coming from, warmer tones can definitely make a big difference, especially during nighttime. It’s great to hear that you already use that feature on your other devices.
I will pass this on to our team to see if this is a possible addition to Mudita Harmony for a more comfortable, eye-friendly experience.

Amazing! Thank you again for taking any feedback and directing it to the team. It’s one of the bonuses of reviewing small companies because they actually listen to the consumers/customers.

Here’s something even fancier and I’m not sure if it will go against the simplicity of the clock, but, make the clock backlight color depend on hours of the day.

This can be in settings. So say, I want the normal, cooler tone it is currently between 9am-7pm, and then I want the warmer tone between 7pm-9am. And similarly how we can set the time, we could also set the time in which the light changes. That way during the day, it remains how it is currently, but it will change at night just before you go to bed and if you ever need to check the time in the middle of the night.

I would love this option because it will allow customers more control. If someone really wants one or the other, they can set it so one of them is 12am-12pm (or 24hr in military time). Or they have the option to have both where it parallels the sunlight. Also, if they choose to time it just right, the yellow tint will turn on right when the bedtime jingle happens and so by the time you wake up, it’s back to the white light.
