Wow, it looks great. I really like the e-ink display. How does that work with a camera? I wonder what that will look like?
If Mudita is looking for products testers in Australia I’d like to put my hand up for it! I’m especially interested in the EMF impact as compared with the Pure. I imagine the SAR value of the Kompakt will be rather higher due to it’s greater connectivity and the lessons learned from the Pure regarding network connectivity…
Can you let us know anything about the potential SAR value of the Kompakt? Is this something Mudita is considering with the of this device?
There is a reference to a backlight for the e-ink display. E-ink displays need to be illuminated from the front as far as I know. This was the case for the Pure.
Since different users have different needs its best to e.g. include it is as optional, but not prohibited download Vivaldi and Brave are built to protect privacy more then bare Chrome and FF.
@anon11367638 I like the idea of a customizable app download. I can have the apps I need, without anything I won’t use. This way, I can connect MY WAY.
Surely, thats best. Even leaving sideloading (APK not from Play Store) ON at users risk. That way you can get from WWW what you need and not to be Google signed in.
The way I see it, mindful tech use is actually a very personal journey. There are things that work for some & don’t work for others. I do LOVE the look & simplicity of Mudita Pure, I would love it more if it would let me have a signal/telegram app because I have friends & family in other countries & those phone charges can really add up.
Too bad Pure concept was not more attractive at the time of its Kickstater.
If strech goals were reached, Mudita would be obliged to introduce offline Maps and Signal text messaging.
