Minor improvements ideas

Hi community,

As a mudita kompakt user, i have seen 2 little things that could improve user experience.

  1. In the quick center, we could have a LTE toggle. Or a possibility to decide which icons can be there. Although i believe that currently there is space for adding 2 more toggles.

I like to have my phone disconnected from the internet but i want to receive calls or sms. For that reason i have disabled the wifi when not in use, but for LTE there is not a quick toggle, so when i am out of home, i need to go manually to the settings in order to change this setting on and off.

  1. Freeze apps.

I have installed 3rd party apps for messaging, signal, whatsapp, and they consume battery when not in use, so i have to manually go to the settings and force quit them. Boox eink devices have this functionality to freeze apps when not in use, and they automatically closed when they go to the background. So it would be nice to have this feature as well in the phone in a settings menu.

Looking forward for your thoughts on this!

When you say “Freeze apps” Do you mean like deep sleep? Or like a forced close/exit/quit. I’m not sure I understand exactly.

It allows you to save battery, by preventing the app from any operation in the background such as sending notifications.
So i guess it is kinda auto-closing the app in the background.
