Meditation app recommendation! (sideload)

Highly recommend sideloading the Plum Village app! I got it on the aurora store. It has many audio meditations like this one relating to our electronic devices  and new meditations continue to be added

Includes guided and silent mediations and a lot of other calm and mindful content

I’m just hoping for daily meditation statistics to build healthy habits!

While I have not attempted to sideload it on the Kompakt and can’t speak to how well it works, I’d recommend the iChill app by the Trauma Resource Institute (not affiliated). I think it offers some truly useful techniques for you to then practice away from your phone, particularly in times of stress.

Personally, I find the stock Meditation App to be just fine. It can be easy to get caught up in objectivity and statistics tracking with these apps (“If I didn’t get my 15 minutes in today I failed to keep my average trending up oh noooo”) rather than making the movements for your own balance, so the less gamification the better for these sorts of tools if you ask me.

Yes! I also really appreciated that  I’m a big fan of Thich Nhat Hanh, too. He has at least a few audio recordings on there if I remember right----guided meditation and maybe a few lectures. Hope you like it! It seems to work pretty well on the Kompakt

I am sure I will thanks so much again, I rather have this on my phone than a podcast app that I took off

I find the statistics are good because I cannot keep up a meditation practice without having that momentum to be honest.
