Looks like MK update's back on the menu, boys!

Is it showing up for anybody? Maybe they posted this publicly by mistake, I would expect an official thread when the staged rollout starts

Some welcome changes.

I’m a bit confused though, the patch notes for this version say assisted GPS has been added, but now the roadmap says that ‘Assisted GPS: Faster and more accurate location positioning’ is planned for the Q2 update.

I wonder if @urszula is able to shed any more light on this?

@ed_knight490 what would you like to know?

The update is indeed back on the menu!

However the changelog slipped out before it was fully ready.

We’re actually going to pull it back down for now just to finalize some last-minute testing, and to make sure we don’t spoil the full surprise for the rest of the community before launch day.

@ed_knight490 regarding the Assisted GPS on the roadmap… let’s just say, our team managed
to squeeze a few extra things in, ahead of schedule!

Hang tight! The official update is dropping soon and we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for the clarification! Looking forward to it.

I’m guessing you’re not able to give us a rough estimate of when it’ll go live? Still on track for by the end of Q1?

Within the next eight days? Woo-hoo!

Please don’t make me jinx it

Q1’s the buzzer though!

Would it be possible to update WebView to the latest version, and fix all the known Android vulnerabilities - in this coming update ? It’s so urgent.

And how about a WORKING spam blocker for calls AND sms ?

I’m afraid we won’t be able to fit everything into this upcoming update,
quite a few things have been addressed though.

Almost there!

I hope that there will be an option to turn assisted GPS off? I have a low data plan. Love the Mudita Kompakt and all that you guys do. Glad I chose it over the Light Phone, lol.

I believe that @urszula told me several days ago here on the Forum that, yes, a user will be able to disable A-GPS, if/when not desired.

@kirkmahoneyphd YUP you can completely disable it.
