Loved this sale got my Kompakt at a nice price! Been loving my first week with the Kompakt. Have used it intentionally. I have even started using the e-reader something I thought I would do because I love physical books but I find the Kompakt is helping me decrease the amount of time I watch tv in the evenings. Usually after my kids go to bed around 8 I would watch tv from 8-10 and honestly I am more and more getting tired of tv. Now with the Kompakt, once they go to bed, I will use the Kompakt to read, listen to music in my living room via connecting it to a blue tooth speaker and read. I did a lot of reading on the Kompakt yesterday and it was a joy. I am still going to carve out time in the mornings to read physical books but I do love being able to carry around multiple books on the Kompakt. I honestly think the white color has been a god send for me. For some reason it just looks more like e-reader to me in this color and less like I am reading from a smartphone.
This is so strange you mention about TV…I was thinking about this earlier how I seem to have lost interest in watching TV. There’s a couple of series I like with new seasons just started and I’m a bit like…naaah
I wonder is it some kind of allergy now to screens in general

I got rid of my TV about 30 years ago and never missed it. I mainly watch music videos on Youtube, but that will come to an end soon when “age verification” aka total surveillance is introduced. I heard it will even affect F-Droid, not just Facebook, Youtube and porn sites. I hope this law will never be passed.
