Is it possible to turn off vibration on the alarms, either within settings or via adb? It completely defeats the purpose of having nice gentle wakeup sounds when they are accompanied by ZZZZT ZZZZT ZZZZT.

Yes, it is but not by default. Do you have developer options enabled?
You go into developer mode → search for accessibility (this is normally hidden!) → vibration & haptic strength–> notification vibration OFF, by default it’s on for notifications for some reason but not for ringing. I can now either toggle silent mode or the ringing mode so I’m happy.

Thanks, I do! I switched it off, but I assume this will also turn off vibrations for texts, calendar, etc. I’d prefer to keep those, but I guess I can live with this for now.

Glad to hear that! @anon4838315 's tip didn’t work after all – it turned off vibrations for notifications, but not the alarm, which is the opposite of what I want.

Ah sorry I thought it would work. Sorry for waking you up this morning by a buzzer, despite thinking you’d be woken up by nature sounds 
I must confess I use a Braun alarm clock which also has a crescendo alarm.

Surprised that the vibration settings weren’t amended in the latest update.
Decided to try waking with my Kompakt alarm for the first time in a while, my phone still buzzes when the alarm goes off.

@rcink Just to make sure I understand you correctly. You’ve turned off all the VIBRATIONS in the ADVANCED setting & the phone still vibrates? Is that’s what’s happening in your case?

It would be nice to have a toggle for alarm not to vibrate - it does take away from the chill Autumnal Sea sounds

@urszula I have the same issue, vibrations are all turned off and still vibrates with alarm only. Would like to be able to turn that off. I do not have the latest update yet, though.

@mgayden I’ve escalated the issue with the team. Right now, we don’t have a setting that turns all of the vibrations off, but it’s been mentioned a few times.

Hi. Was this issue ever rectified. I’ve just got my Kompakt and love it so far, but did not like the alarm and vibration this morning. Would be great to turn it off. I have the latest OS update. Thanks, Mark

I haven’t received a definitive answer yet. There are ADB commands that can turn this off, if you are familiar with ADB.
