Apologies if this is addressed in the new update, but I haven’t been able to access it yet.
Is there any way to change the default unlock of the phone from fingerprint to the option to use the password?
It’s never been a huge issue, but it has occurred to me that if I ever needed to let someone use my phone they wouldn’t be able to unlock it. It seems like it would be a basic feature, but maybe it is and I just don’t know how to use it.
Anybody found a way to do unlocks with the password instead of fingerprint?
Settings / Security / Screen Lock - see your options
You have options to add more finger prints, if this other person is a trusted person, and in advance of the need for that other person to use your phone you can add their finger print for unlocking your phone.
