[Kompakt] Disable/change PIN on eSIM?

Have searched for this on the forum but haven’t found: how to disable or change PIN on eSIM card? My provider says it must be set on the phone.

@ovy Unfortunately, this is not possible on Kompakt.

well it better be. I (and probably many others) don’t want to provide PIN every time the phone is restarted

@ovy Let me make sure I understand correctly what’s happening. When you restart the phone (just a regular restart, turning the phone off & on- not a FACTORY RESET) you’re asked to provide a PIN for your SIM CARD?

Sorry that this is happening to you, but I’ve never experienced this, so that’s why I’m asking to make sure I understand what’s happening in your case.

@ovy So, I talked to our team & at this moment, the only option would be to move the SIM (physical) card to another phone and disable this option, but with eSIM this is not so easy.

with esim this is not possible. I do not have a physical card
