I wanted to start a thread specifically for sharing wallpapers for Katapult users.
I’m very new to this forum (and forums in general) so I dont know how to share stuff yet, I’m hoping I can do it in the thread after I create the topic.
If anyone else has made custom wallpapers please share them!

I asked ChatGPT to reference a photo of my cats and remake it in the e-ink style. These were some of the results lol. I like the first one because he’s looking up at the clock on my screen

In the meantime, I made a reddit post about it yesterday in r/muditacompakt with images and links.
I checked it out on reddit. The background is a bit too “AI” and too busy for me, but the bubbles are a great idea! Could you make more such wallpapers with different backgrounds (more natural looking ones) ?
Its not AI, its one of a series of patterns that I spent weeks designing and developing.
And I really just made it for myself and decided to share it because I figured others might like it too.
I probably wont make more wallpapers for a while, but thats why I released the templates without the pattern background, so that others can drop the bubbles directly onto whatever background they like, and hopefully share them here afterward!

Stole your wallpaper text island idea, here’s a quick preview for the upcoming release.
You’ll be able to activate text islands, so you don’t have to draw them manually.

Im new to hanging out in forums and the online tech space. what a cool experience: to make something, share it with the community, and then have it baked into the UX within a few weeks. Never thought switching phones could be so interesting. Thanks for making an awesome thing.

Sure, here you go. Sorry for not making any new ones lately. Katapult and inkOS changed with every update, and partly some wallpapers are included.
You can disregard the instructions I added as a text file, since you can now activate text islands in Katapult and no longer need to manually activate the high contrast mode.
