Great work as always!
I’ve run into an issue which may or may not be related to me not knowing how to use the launcher properly, but so be it: I can’t change which apps appear on the home page (the one with the clock, music widget, 6 apps, etc) any longer. On a previous version, I added email, calendar, etc, but need to remove the email to add another app. Has this feature gone missing somehow, or have I overlooked something?

You might have disabled “Long-press app in home” which is now located in Settings/Gestures.
I’ve added more options in the last update:
Change it to “Edit Shortcut” and you’ll be able to edit them. Then leave it as is or change it to “clear notifications” or opening the context menu

Media widget: no command reaches Transistor (radio app)
With Transistor (org.y20k.transistor, F-Droid) playing, none of the Katapult media widget buttons have any effect: play/pause, next and previous do nothing, and stop hides the widget but playback continues.
Transistor itself does respond to media commands: AirPods double-tap skips to the next station as expected.
Looking at AudioWidgetHelper, stop() calls dismiss() unconditionally, so the widget disappears even though the command wasn’t honored. Maybe the transport controls are sent to a different/stale session, or Transistor’s session doesn’t accept them from this controller?

@Minouchas Update on this, it was actually an issue of Katapult not supporting a newer API and Transmitter had no fallback for older APIs. This has been fixed in 1.6

- Screensaver shortcut: use Katapult's screensaver from other launchers, plus an optional Screensaver icon in the app drawer.

I’ve been using Katapult Launcher since day one after unboxing my Mudita, and I’m genuinely impressed. The expanded customization options compared to the default launcher are exactly what I was looking for, allowing me to tailor the setup to my preferences. Everything runs remarkably smooth, and I haven’t encountered a single bug so far. It keeps the core minimalist philosophy of the device intact while giving you just the right amount of flexibility - highly recommended

Since I have the MK, I sideloaded a bunch of (more or less) useful apps, which look sometimes ugly with the MK’s own launcher, and where sorted by name. Because I remember apps faster by icon and place than by name, I never tried a launcher that shows only the names of the apps. But with Kompakt Launcher I can sort them as I like and even give them new icons, this makes the MK more pleasent and easier to use.

Hello. Do you remember me ? I’m Max from France, we’ve already spoken on “Buy Me a Coffee.” I know you must be very busy creating your operating system, but could you include the option to create folders within the app launcher in a future update of Katapult ? For instance, instead of hiding certain apps, I’d like to be able to group them into one or more folders.

Very busy indeed. I do have this on the list of possible features as a few of other users have requested it. But I never got around it. The UI is quite ready to handle this.
I’ll do my best to have it done in the next updates!
