@The Our team is working on he keyboard, but I’m not sure what the title of this thread has to do with the keyboard. Am I missing something?
Just sideload Google Keyboard! Solved the keyboard problem for me right away!

I understand your frustration. I downloaded FUTO Keyboard, it’s great.

I sideloaded Heliboard and it’s much better than the stock keyboard.

I think that the stock keyboard should be as useful as the sideloaded options. It seems it’s not a hardware issue.
I refuse to sideload things… I want the phone as it is intended to be.

That’s fair. Ideally, the phone should work great out of the box. As it stands, though, pretty much every single Mudita app on the phone has a vastly superior FOSS equivalent, so if you don’t sideload, the phone just isn’t going to work as well as it could.
