Hi, am I the only one whereby the maps app cannot find a single address? None of the addresses I try can be found, any suggestion?

the map data is generally good, but some places around the world may have less accurate data, for example you might find it easier to find a street but an individual house number might not be there
if you have an example (that doesn’t expose your personal location) that might help to check

I have seen that behavior. The Maps app lets me enter the specific address of a house but then puts the pin only somewhere down the street from (and on the same street as) that house. This matches my earlier experience with OSM mapping apps.
I sideloaded HERE WeGo, which never gives me this “down the street” problem.

the best option here is to contribute to OSM https://www.openstreetmap.org it very much relies on community contribution, specific house numbers for example often aren’t there unless a local person has added them. but this shouldnt normally be a problem as long as you can get to the street or the street has really bizarre number locations

Thanks. I know about that, but I like HERE WeGo, which does not require that work and takes me directly to my desired destination.
