Well, no, but with a little patience, you can play some Gameboy games.
I tested a handful of games: tetris, mario land 1 & 2, and Kirbys Dreamland. Tetris is very playable, mario was ok, but Kirby was a bit too fast for the screen. I imagine Pokemon would be the perfect type of game for the kompakt, if that’s your thing.
Some caveats in my test: I didn’t try with a controller, and I played an online emulator using brave browser instead of a local app, so there’s potential room for improvement in terms of player experience.
If I find an emulator I can install without paying for, that doesn’t require google play services, and that can actually find my roms, I’ll give an update. Let me know if any of you have any app suggestions.
