For better sleep, there are some things that seem to help:
Warm milk is a traditional remedy for insomnia, so it’s no surprise that it’s high in melatonin. I personally cannot stand warm milk, but people swear by it
My personal favorite are pistachios and almonds, which are among nuts with the highest amount of melatonin.
It is and I’m so glad I own this clock!
For me, it’s about falling asleep and falling back to sleep. I put on music to help lull me to sleep when I first go to bed, but it’s difficult sometimes when I wake up at early hours because I’m wide awake.
I do drink chamomile tea, but I think I just need to be better at going to bed earlier than usual. Hopefully, it will help.
Ahhh, and there were more Mudita Harmony clocks in stock, and I took the time today to ask my spouse about it… just enough time that they ran out! Sigh. Well, next time or when the Harmony 2 is eclipsed by 3.
I also like chamomile tea. However, I discovered another herb when I was in Australia last year. Dried Casimiroa Leaf- It’s also called white sapote leaf tea (scientific name Casimiroa edulis). I’m sure @galtions knows all about it
Ooh! I’ve never heard of this before-- I’m going to try and find some near me, I’m excited to try! Thanks for the suggestion
I haven’t heard of it, what does it taste like? Black sapote fruit is amazing - it’s like a chocolate pudding! Not sure that it would help with sleep though… maybe would help to have sweet dreams?
Anyhoo, in my experience there are two amazing herbs to help with sleep…
@galtions It’s kinda tastes like Lemon Myrtle mixed with white tea. I got it at Tropical Fruit World
