I was all set to order the Kompakt over the weekend until I saw the size of the device. It’s a curious name for a “compact” phone.
Hopefully the next iteration will have a smaller footprint.

The functional use of the screens would also need to change?
The Kompakt footprint size is compact enough, to accommodate the screen, my opinion.
It has a smaller screen than any of my friends’ smartphones… It is thicker but it has to be in order to support a headphone jack, which is a feature many of us would be very upset to give up.
