I’m not getting text images from iPhones (HEIC) and other Android phones (I think images are being sent through RCS, so I can’t see them). Anybody have any workarounds for this?

nikkoulo @nikkoulo Our team said that these are the supported MMS formats when sending messages: JPEG, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, WebP, HEIF, WBMP.
supported MMS/files formats when receiving: JPEG, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, WebP, HEIF, WBMP, PDF.
However, GIF images will not move- it will be a static photos.
Are you able to receive OTHER formats, other than HEIF?

Based on my experience, the images that fail to open may be “live” or movie type images or perhaps they are just too high of resolution and large in size and the Kompakt processor is overwhelmed/times out trying to load images.
Work around? Use a different phone for photo messaging or ask people to send you lower resolution, change their phone setting to most compatible format … good luck with getting others to change to accommodate your needs.

One image I’m trying to download in my texts is only 32.77kb. I have been able to download other pictures from text in the past but not always. Sometimes I receive pictures way later. I’m trying to find this setting but I don’t know where it is:
EDIT: I found the settings. I already had it configured this way and it’s not working. And this picture I’m trying to receive is coming from another Android phone

They will most likely ask for logs in order to check what’s happening “under the hood” to cause this issue for you.
