I want to test the Mudita pure on the Fizz network in Canada, based on the info below would the phone work for calling and texting: [

Fizz Mobile supports GSM 850, 1800, and 1900 bands.
Fizz Mobile operates on an LTE-Advanced network. To use Fizz Mobile, your phone must be LTE compatible and configured with LTE network preferences. It must also support the following frequencies:
HSPA 850 MHz: For calls
1700/2100 MHz: For mobile data, also known as AWS or band IV

In my several weeks experience

  • Its not network prefs its pure and simple signal strenght
    • Where most phones have 4 bars Pure will have 2
    • Where most phohes have 2 or less Pure will either hang a bit or loose signal
  • Whenever you go to basements, elevators and other low signal areas it will instantly loose signal AND you might need to restart phone to recover signal. Trouble is if you dont phone keeps looking for tower and spends a lot of battery compared to noramal use. Also this can happen while travelling out of dense covered urban areas\
  • VOLTE might work IF operator first can enable it.
