Is there a direct way to access to my pictures without having to launch the camera app (which seem battery consuming to me, especially when running in the background)? Or have you a good and light gallery app to recommend to sideload? Thanks!
There are several gallery apps on F-Droid.
Hi Tobard,
Using the current Mudita Launcher, i haven’t found a way to make a shortcut directly into Gallery. Using InkOS v 0.4 I can make a short cut directly into Gallery (and many, many other activities which aren’t accessible from the Mudita Launcher. It’s foolproof but unfortunately also extremely limited, but besides default apps only sideloaded apps are shown.
Kind regards,
Marco
@tobard Currently, there is no gallery app on Mudita Kompakt- I believe that’s intentional, but I did ask our team about this.
Go inkOS, it will allow you to put Gallery on the home screen or ‘app drawer’.
There defintely is, it’s just hidden and there’s no icon for it, so the Mudita development team has decided (apparantly) not to allow direct access to the gallery.
@Marco Good to know. I will ask them about this. I’m curious why this is.
