HeliBoard Keyboard — Community App Review
Version: 3.9
HeliBoard is a privacy-conscious open-source keyboard, based on AOSP / OpenBoard.
I prefer this over FUTO keyboard. Check out the features list on the F-droid page: HeliBoard | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository
Note that glide/swipe texting is not available by default. The features list describes a way to get it, but I haven’t tried it.
Enjoy.

I can’t say enough good things about HeliBoard. I still choose this over the updated Mudita Keyboard.
As a former iPhone user, I was so used to the Apple emojis. I was able to download the Apple emoji file and now when I’m typing, my emojis look like they did on the iPhone. Also, swipe is a must for one-hand typing. I just can’t get used to using a keyboard without it.

I second that. Only minor thing (that’s why 4/5 stars) is that you have to d/l the file by google to activate swap. But you can spend time typing words the app asks so they can make their own swap file
