Hello all! I am new to the forum so I hope that this is the proper procedure, but please feel free to correct me if not.
My goal for making this topic was to create a general thread that allows for discussion of the features of the Harmony and Harmony 2. Specifically I have some requests for things that could be added to the software that don’t really count as technical support or a software update. Feel free to add your own ideas to this topic, like things you’d like to see added, tweaked, or even taken out.
To start off, I would like a clockface that has the date (day/month) visible but doesn’t have the battery percentage visible. Adding to this, I would love to be able to edit or configure the clockfaces myself to really be able to customize my harmony to my specific use case.
@meganh Welcome to the Mudita Forum Community & thank you for starting this thread. I’m sure we can get a lot of helpful feedback from Harmony & Harmony 2 users here.
@meganh Welcome! For the use I have for it, mainly just as an alarm, it is the perfect accessory to have close to our bed. The e-ink and design give a peaceful feel. The latest updates fixed all the initial problems, including the freezing, and the battery life has “rocketed up.” I have almost a month of battery life using only the alarm features. It would be interesting to read more about user suggestions, as you did because the team listens to them and for sure there are a good window of improvement and possible new features.
Yes, with the date shifted over to the center of the screen that would be ideal. Having a similar option for the other clockfaces (the quote one and the vertical time one) would be perfect as well.
It would be cool to have options using the “on/off” for what to show or hide. I personally like seeing the battery. So maybe it would be cool to have a clock face settings including “battery percentage, battery image, date” and have each one be something we choose. Have them all centered format so that way whatever we choose will be centered below.
A second idea would be also having a toggle for “on/off” would be using these options to scroll through them. By rotating the top button, it would be cool to see battery then rotate to see date and we can choose which one to show as default. I hope this made sense.
In summary- having all the options be on or off for display as well as a rotating to what we would like to see under the time.
