I have been playing around with the case for the Kompakt, that was posted here a while back. I have been carrying mine naked for a while, and it feels great without a case but I’m worried that it’s a bit vulnerable like that, so I thought I’d try adapting the case to still.offer some protection whilst going some way to being a bit more minimalist

Seem best to call the original case a shoe, or cover, hacked is a like a Kompakt thong or sandal

I think I’ve made it as minimal as I can now, it covers the corners which are usually where any damage occurs during a drop. It’s as close as I can get to not having a case, but still having minimal protection. Still feels nice in the hand also.

That is very cool! I’ve also been looking at 3D printing a variation of the case file that was posted here previously. Would you be willing to share the 3D print file you used for this?

Is this 3D printed? What does the material feel like?
Yes 3d printed I used a Matt PLA, and it has a light texture so it feels nice to the touch, not too “grippy”

there are a lot of hoops to jump through to upload a design, and 24 hr wait until you can publish, but here it is.
I of course gave full credit to the person who reverse engineered the case (Landon Nipco) and kindly shared his model
