I have been playing around with the case for the Kompakt, that was posted here a while back. I have been carrying mine naked for a while, and it feels great without a case but I’m worried that it’s a bit vulnerable like that, so I thought I’d try adapting the case to still.offer some protection whilst going some way to being a bit more minimalist

Seem best to call the original case a shoe, or cover, hacked is a like a Kompakt thong or sandal

I think I’ve made it as minimal as I can now, it covers the corners which are usually where any damage occurs during a drop. It’s as close as I can get to not having a case, but still having minimal protection. Still feels nice in the hand also.

That is very cool! I’ve also been looking at 3D printing a variation of the case file that was posted here previously. Would you be willing to share the 3D print file you used for this?

Is this 3D printed? What does the material feel like?
Yes 3d printed I used a Matt PLA, and it has a light texture so it feels nice to the touch, not too “grippy”

there are a lot of hoops to jump through to upload a design, and 24 hr wait until you can publish, but here it is.
I of course gave full credit to the person who reverse engineered the case (Landon Nipco) and kindly shared his model

I raised a ticket on this issue a while ago it’s been passed around and come back to me, this evening I have sent an email to Mudita support, with 4 screenshot examples of my own, and also added yours to show the problem is occurring with others

This behavior is not related to your account or permissions. The forum automatically removes a quote when someone quotes the entirety of the post directly above theirs and places that quote at the beginning of the reply. The system assumes the full quote is unnecessary because the response already appears immediately below the original post. If only part of the post is quoted, or the reply is directed at an earlier post, the quote remains visible. This is basically done to save space.
I understand that the result can feel unpredictable and look like something has gone wrong & I have raised this with our tech team. However, I’m not sure if this something that we can alter on our end since we use the Discourse platform for the forum.
