The GPS works pretty good for hiking Ive found. I was using it way out on the woods at Glacier National Park a few days ago and it helped me navigate a few spots where the trail wasn’t marked. It’s pretty neat having zero service and being able to navigate.
I noticed the actual GPS coordinates are available if you drop a pin but only pop up briefly before being replaced by the name of the area the pin was dropped at .
I was just using the stock one. No crazy hiking or anything, just pulled it up once to see if I turned at the right spot. It showed me the trails and rivers but I had a hard timw seeing the little lake I was going to.
(Fish Lake 5 out of 10)/( The hike is pretty though )
