Glitch on phone - Help pls

My phone keeps having a pop up that says intent filter verification service app stopped working then the option to close the app, but it keeps popping up whenever I use the phone and it won’t go away. I use ink OS app too

@somastudy I’ve asked our team about this. It’s not malware and does not affect your personal data. It just means the system temporarily failed to confirm app-to-URL links.
Since you have InkOs, I wonder if that has something to do with it because a third-party launcher can trigger this message. Launchers interact directly with intent filters.

Intent verification crash happened to me before I even made inkOS. It started happening when I installed third-party sms apps like Fossify Messages or QUIK sms.

And if I remember correctly it stopped appearing often when I fully disabled the Mudita SMS app via adb.

In normal AOSP u can clear the cache for intent verification, or allow for links to verify automatically which would have stopped this crash. But in Mudita OS K they’ve been removed.

That’s what out team just said. It’s most likely caused by third-party apps installed that altered default app associations.

Yes, but just because it is happens after a third-party app is installed and made as default, doesn’t mean it’s the cause of the crash.

If you read the other topic, there are people who have the same issue without having a third party launcher or a third party sms app.

So the crash shouldn’t happen. As it doesn’t happen in other phones ranging from Android 10-16 where I have tested these apps.

I went into the developer options and search Intent verification and closed the program and I haven’t had a pop up since. I will most likely go into ADB if it shows up again! Thank you for the help!
