I tried it a few years back, when I was going through a lot of different OS:s… Many linux distros, HaikuOS, Fyde, ChromeFlex etc.
It seems they have done a lot of progress. What makes me interested is that it seems to work well on new hardware (intel 13th gen cpus.) The linux kernel is lagging in that regard. I think its time for a re-visit!
Thanks, John. I’m testing Fyde OS on a Lenovo Ideapad S330 laptop, and it’s working great! I especially like the seamless integration of Linux and Android apps.
I just wanted to know if anyone has more insights or experience with security and privacy, especially on how Fyde OS compares to other distros.
Well, its chinese wich will make some run away in fear, throwing their hands up in the air. It might be justified, it might not. Not much info on this, mainly guesses.

Thanks, John. I appreciate your suggestion about blendOS and pointing me in the right direction. I discovered a similar distro that integrates Linux and Android, VanillaOS, and I’m currently testing it.
