Just a fun observation. I am that person who likes to listen to his Discover Weekly on Spotify. Now I loaded a lot of my favourite songs from 10 years ago on the Kompakt and as there is no folder structure, I just get them randomly. So Mudita has a new function for me, it´s my ReDiscover Weekly 
where I can enjoy my old favourites randomly

I absolutely agree that the music player needs an update, I really hope the folder structure will appear soon! After two weeks of using Kompakt, I’d also like to point out no loop option and displaing only title of the file without reading the number of it.

Is there a shuffle mode on the music player? So it randomly picks songs to play

Yes, there’s shuffle mode and one-by-one mode.
