Fingerprint Security Issue [Kompakt]

@ovy already wrote that he/she scanned only one finger.

@ovy I am interested if someone else is able to unlock your phone. Could you please check it?

Wow that’s really bad. So if you want to have your phone secured, setting the code is the only option

And you only have 1 fingerprint saved?
Our team said that this could happed of you have more than one.

it can also happen if you register (accidentally or otherwise) more than one finger on a single fingerprint entry. i tested this and it works, one entry, multiple fingers unlock.

but if ovy is saying anyones finger unlocks it, then its likely a broken or malfunctioning sensor, as thats just not how these sensors work.

Hey @urszula can you confirm that this is my faulty sensor allowing my device to be unlocked by every finger? Or should I contact the support directly?

@ovy It’s hard for me to say. Let me ask the team.

UPDATE: I’ve gotten info from the team that they are working on getting the fingerprint sensitivity fixed.

Just to add one thing, I have just removed my fingerprints because of another thing: every time I wanted to double-check if I have any notifications displayed on the lockscreen, I had to press the lock button. But in most cases, unless I’ve been using just the edge of the button, fingerprint sensor was kicking in only to show me the pinpad right after a fraction of a second of displaying the lock screen. I believe first press should wake up the sensor and show the lock screen, without rushing to the pinpad yet (just like it works if you have pin lock but no fingerprint).
