Feature Request: Matte Screen

Hi everyone!

I have been using the light phone 2 for almost 2 years and I am needing to upgrade the phone. It’s cracked and it glitches out often, so I am looking at the Hisense Hi Pro Reader and disable apps or wait for the Mudita Kompakt. I am aware that the Light Phone 3 is coming out but with the camera feature rolling out and it not being e-ink, it doesn’t seem as ideal anymore. I felt the e-ink created that mindful aura around the Light Phone and the camera just creates distraction with being able to scroll infinitely through the photo albums.

For the Mudita Kompakt, I would personally love to see a matte screen rather than a glass screen. I feel it really helps with the e-ink experience. It would be great to have a directory feature, similar to the LP2 where you can look up places, addresses and phone numbers. I feel that’s an essential that I can no longer live without! I’m also wondering if there will be a camera on this device? I heard there will be but I am not 100% sure!

Either way, I am really looking forward to this device. and the future updates!

An image that Mudita included in the latest sneak-peek email message displayed a photo-like icon, with a + sign, to the left of the text field at the bottom of the text-messaging app, so I am guessing that there WILL be a camera on the Kompakt.

Really eh did not notice that. I don’t mind a dumbphone having a camera. A camera is not an addictive app so not sure why people are so opposed to it. I am in a similar vain I have the LP3 pre-ordered but I really want the Kompakt to be a great phone because I do love the Mudita OS it just really needs to work properly this time or I am done. I don’t want to go through the hell I went through trying to get the pure work I wasted a lot of time and money on that trying different sim cards and phone plans.
