Yes. It’s the Pentax 17. The first newly designed analog camera in about 20 years.
How do you like it? ive been considering a film camera at some point
Cool! Yeah that watch takes someone ‘in the know’ to notice.
I love it but it has it’s price (550€). Good (and bad) point: it’s a half frame camera, so it gives you 72 shots out of a 36 film. But you can also get very decents results with a used point and shoot from the 80`'s or 90’s. Unfortunately, prices for used analog cameras have exploded in recent years.
I’ve always toyed with the idea of getting a half frame camera. Currently, I’m using a RETO Ultra Wide&Slim which is cheap and lots of fun but I’m very curious about the Kodak Ektar H35 since I’d like my films to last longer.
I’ve owned both. They’re both absolutely fine cameras. If you want half-frame, you can go for the Hektar without hesitation. The Pentax isn’t 10 times better just because it costs 10 times as much.
Nice setup! I also thought that it is just a notebook on the left, have to look into Supernote Nomad
This is my EDC
- generic lined a6 notebook – simple and nice with ivory sheets, bought it in January in an attempt to get into handwritten note taking, and now with the switch to the Kompakt it sees more and more use,
- uni-ball roller pen – can be any other to be the honest, but it is the one I carry with me recently,
- TIMEX watch (TW2R46400) – got it as a present for myself 6 years ago from my first paycheck as a software developer, date thingy stopped working couple of years ago, but I still love the watch, and without a smartphone I find myself actually using not just wearing it way more often (yay!),
- Rossm wallet (which is Ridge wallet knockoff) – alternatively I use Alpaka zip card pouch if I need a bit of extra space.
What a cute G-Shock!
I love your white setup! Is that a launcher you have on your Kompakt? Which one?
That is Niagara Launcher.
Thank you! Yes, that’s the Niagara Launcher.
