Emf levels on Kompakt

While the study you mentioned focuses on ionizing radiation, which has enough energy to cause DNA damage, the radiation emitted by mobile phones is non-ionizing. As can be seen here the the current body of scientific evidence does not support a clear, causal relationship between mobile phone radiation( non-ionizing radiation) and cancer. unhealthy. Is considered a possible carcinogen. And with the amounts of it that we are exposed to today, it makes it a dangerous thing to have on us all of the time, which most people do.

@muxbree SAR is a measurement for cell phones. Mudita Harmony doesn’t have any wireless communication tech in it. We actually have a support article about it.

And this is something I’ve always appreciated! Especially compared to alarm clocks like the Loftie or Hatch that always has to be connected on WiFi. It’s the main reason I didn’t go with either of those clocks.

I just wish it (the clock) wasn’t made in china, but instead, Europe, like their phones. I would buy one then.

I’m not because I figure it costs so much up front it seems like too much to have to do.

Where does it say made in China? And how do you know it’s different than Kompakt?

Hello!
Checking to see if there’s been un update on radiation levels on the new Kompakt? I’ve ordered one through Kickstarter, however this is a BIG dealbreaker for me, as I’m sensitive to radiation. How does this new version compare with current standard phones?

Thanks so much, Bonita x

I am general pro dumb phone, not just for EMF but for physical keyboard and less distractions.
Well I find tech underdeveloped, thus temp dropped.
Point is we need better antenna with EMF levels.
Main issues being
a) Not supporting all networks, thus making many providers unusable (not an issue in Europe that much)
b) Sudden signal drops even in good reception areas (during travel is OK)
c) Need to restart phone to regain signal anytime its lost
d) Underdeveloped software esp… Notes, mp3 player, Calendar not making it really usable even to Nokia S30 levels of old. Still finding no new features policy dumb, when advertised feats are below minimum feature wise. Like mp3 player not multi tasking or Bluetooth unable to transfer text file.

As far as I understand, Pure was made in Europe (Poland?) / fair labor policy except battery, while Kompakt is made fully in PRC resulting in Outlet Pure being close to promoted Kompakt prices.

@anon11367638 Yes, Mudita Pure was made in Poland.

Which, for me, is just one more reason Kompakt is off the table. (made in china) It’s just no longer what it started out to be :frowning:
