Eink light version of streaming app taking data from Youtube Music?

Is there any app that can replace Youtube Music? I have a paid version of YouTube Music and that is ok for me, but 1) it is not working on Mudita, 2) I hate this app for the suggestions everywhere and no posibilitty to make it “lighter”. But I like the music there and some podcasts that are only there.

I would like something light, without algoritm suggesting me what to listen, without pictures and movies. I just want my own list o songs, possibility to add more from Youtube and posibillity to listen to enything from streaming.

Something that logs you to Youtube, but is separate and e-ink friendly:)

There are two apps that come to my mind, however I haven’t tried any of them on a phone, so I don’t know if they are “lighter”.

Both are free and open source.

Thanks! SimpMusic is still “too heavy” for me. I will check Kreate.

I would love something looking similar to CalmMusic ( CalmMusic review by ArmchairSetup - #32 by essateg ), something more matching Mudita style:)

Then you will have to wait for the new version of CalmMusic

I am waiting:) I guess anybody interested should follow: CalmApps maybe becoming PaperApps and PaperTunes

Is there also an app that can replace Spotify Premium client?

The app that logs you to your Spotify account, but presents data better and without adds and algorythmic suggestions?

So that it is legal (you log on to your premium version that you have paid for) but more mindfull:)

[EDIT] there is Sidespot (Sidespot review by nilss - Community Apps - Mudita Forum. A Community of Minimalist Technology Enthusiasts) but it does not manage playlists.

I’m hoping for the same thing for Qobuz, but appreciate Spotify has a lot more users so it’s unlikely anytime soon!
