Yes, that’s why they’re more grayish. It has to be done to make the fonts smoother.
What I’m asking for them is to allow us to turn this feature on for other apps as well.
And one feature to let users to just keep the fast refresh (pixelated) mode even for ebooks if they choose so.

- Smooth epub text
- After exiting the ereader and re-entering again it shows the sharp mode only, so u have to change pages to get it back to smooth.
- After timeout it just goes to a whitescreen (IMO it should show the page I was reading)
- Dark mode, which IMO is harder to read but could be an option for those that want it.
