At around the same time I got the Kompakt, I also started transitioning from spotify to a selfhosted Navidrome server. For the most part I am ok with sideloaded apps having a less than ideal UI, as I only use them in short bursts. However, I listen to music quite often and have struggled finding a Subsonic client with all the features that I want that also has a lightweight UI. All the full-featured clients have modern UIs trying to match and even outdo spotify, and all the “minimal” ones are also minimal in features (bad playlist management, library navigation etc).
Does anyone here have experience and suggestions for this? How many people would like to see an e-ink first Subsonic client?
