Fun article from the Wall Street Journal (via MSN so you don’t get the paywall):
Have you ever noticed the many times that someone will pull a cellphone away from his or her ear to see whether the other party has ended a call?
I have longed for years for cellphones to play a sound similar to what one hears on a landline telephone receiver when the other party hangs up.
How about mail + email vs phone + text?
Everybody emails? I still have friends that still prefer email, some write letters and mail them. I have a friend that has only had a dumb phone, it’s a free phone, poor people get them. All she wants to do is be able to call and text. Her birthday is this month and I am running out of time. Should I send her a Mudita Kompakt or an Android or Iphone as a gift?
New version Kompakt will have a dial tone?
I don’t think that’s even possible for a cell phone, but I did you see this:
I’m thinking of adding this to my less screen, less text, more talk journey ![]()
