Deleting contacts from eSIM / SIM card?

When I installed my eSIM (t-Mobile), it came with a lot of contacts (customer support, etc.) saved to the actual sim card. I can’t find a way to delete these from the phone. I will never use them and they are adding a lot of clutter. Is there a way to do delete contacts stored to a sim card, either on the phone or on the Desktop app?

this is not only about eSIMs, I have a regular SIM which I am not able to remove contacts from.
