Clock, Timer and Stopwatch App

Hi folks,

I sideloaded Fossify Clock (I believe it’s called) because it a UI which I thought would work well with e-Ink. Then I set an alarm and when it went off, I discovered that there’s no way to turn it off. I had to restart the device while the alarm was going off. The timer functionality, on the other hand, is rather nice. When it goes off you just tap the volumne (-) button and it stops.

The native Alarm app doesn’t have Timer functionality (bizarrely).

Has anyone found a nice balance on this? Can you share what you use, please?

Thanks.

Haha, that’s a definite way to wake up in the morning without pressing snooze a bunch of times

true, better than not waking up at all

Looks like there is still no such tool. I missed that on Mudita Kompakt. As that is the most productive tool on my traditional smartphone.

If nobody finds a better option I would be happy to develop that.

Yeah this is one of those rather strange omissions in OS K, I consider timer and stopwatch as essentials. Oh well fortunately there’s sideloading. I’m using Clock (Clock | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository) for timer and stopwatch and Goodtime (Goodtime - Minimalist Pomodoro Timer | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository) for pomodoro/focus timer (this one’s gorgeously minimalistic!).

There is a regular Android clock app built into the system, it’s not looking great on eink but it seems to work and has a timer and a stopwatch. I access it through a sideloaded launcher
