Hi, I have sideloaded WhatsApp on my Kompakt, but I cannot enlarge the font size. The settings in the app itself (WhatsApp/Settings/Chats/Font Size) don’t work. I have also installed ‘Activity Manager’ in case it has a setting for that, but didn’t find it.
Any help appreciated.

I also sideloaded WhatsApp, and when I change the font settings to large within the app itself, the font increases as expected.
Note: the font doesn’t increase anywhere except for within the individual chats. Menus, chat home screen, etc keeps the same font size.

You are right. I was looking at the chat home screen. Maybe there is a way to enlarge that one as well?
Also, as you are using. Are you getting all the notifications? I have the impression that when the phone is turned off, the notifications don’t go through (aka no ping), while when on, they work. Also, it doesn’t seem to refresh messages even shutting down the app and restarting it, but it does shutting down the phone and restarting it.
You have not noticed any of these problems? I have installed it with Aurora and it is version 2.25.13.74.

No idea if there is another way to increase the remaining fonts, but that’s probably more customization that I’m looking to attempt
My phone usually seems to vibrate/ring when I get a WhatsApp notification, even though it won’t show in the lock screen. I have no problems with my messages being refreshed when I open the app as far as I can tell. I also used Aurora store.

Ok, thanks. I am using it beside my Samsung and often my Samsung rings, while the Kompakt doesn’t, if closed. Also, opening WhatsApp on both, I can see the Kompakt is not up to date until I restart the phone. I will try reinstalling WhatsApp.
fyi as an aside, I would prefer if Mudita added WhatsApp to the installed apps given the large customer base …

For people of the future. The problem was on my side. I missed one step in the eSim activation and didn’t get mobile data, hence everything was working at home (wireless) but not outside (mobile data), confusing my reproduction of the problem.
Summary: whatapp seems to work apart from the font size on main page.
