I am wondering if the mudita kompakt will allow customization for the screen background similar to Hisense phones or onyx devices?
@somastudy Just to make sure I understand, are you referring to the background display/wallpaper on which the app icons will be displayed?
Yes that is what I am referring to!
@somastudy Our team confirmed that this is not in the plan because it’s not in line with the minimalist aesthetic. As you can see in Jose’s video about sideloading apps, native Mudita Kompakt apps have a clear background, which matches the screen.
Will there be a chance to reverse black and white in the system settings like in negative? So there would be a black screen with white text and icons? It would be great if you enabled such a dark mode.
@Bocian This was actually possible in the Mudita Pure. I will ask if we can do this in Kompakt.
I believe Pure remained in beta? I thought I would use the inverted screen more but I enjoyed the black on white too much.
That would be great to have a dark mode.
Dark theme wasnt really it or was refreshing even poorer, I rememeber trying it once (dark theme?) and wasnt really good. , and yes it remained beta.
On yota 2 backscreen it was done real nice
It does look cool
Its smartly done that back is black, and essentially only white is well contrasted and uses energy to display, since einks still cant create great contrast.
So it might be possible on black Kompakt.
Sadly, yota was not a success, was expensive, sold to Chinese and died out, so less competition for Mudita
