Now that people are starting to get their Kompakts. has anyone tested the call quality and able to report on it?
one thing that seemed to lack completely from any YouTubers who got early samples is none as far as I can tell actually tested it as… a phone 
I think I saw I also has WiFi calling. Id love to know if anyones been able to test the call quality, if it can do handoff between wifi calling and mobile network (does it support VoLTE, needed for wifi calling handoff)
Hey! The call quality is pretty good! No issues whatsoever!
I have not received my Kompakt, but I can confirm that it supports VoLTE. This appears on the home page of the Kickstarter campaign:
Oh thats excellent, that should mean in theory it will have automatic handoff between WiFi Calling and VoLTE, which I cant understate how useful this is! 
i only have volte and wifi on my second sim, on the first sim since its a new carrier i cant get it working
Call quality great here. I switched from a Unihertz Jelly Star and the Mudita has noticeably better reception and clearer calls.
I’m also glad about the call quality. Carrier Mobile Viking / Play PL (VoLTE) the voice is clear and loud enough.
The call quality is a lot better than featurephones, but I notice some pronounced higher frequencies compared to the light phone 2

Today a strange thing happened. At the end of the call the telephone app crashed. It happened once till now.
@urszula do you want me to send some logs (how?) regarding that crash?

So i have some trouble with call quality, people say it seems like im in a tunnel away from the phone, when i move the microphone couple centimeters in front of my face it sounds just fine but when i have the phone next to my ear it sounds muffled and like from far away.
Also when i turned the loudspeaker my friend said he can hear himself…
@sarten How is the call quality? Has it improved. Sometimes it’s a connection issue (Not dependent on Kompakt)- I get the sometimes on my BlackBerry or even a regular smartphone. If it persists, please let me know.
Haven’t tried calling to the person i was testing it before the most recent update, ill do it this evening to ask if they hear any difference.
I really like option to talk on the speaker, this way my voice is clearer and speaker is very good for listening to person speaking, also tried on headphones but there was no difference to any other device while using the same headphones.
I’ll update once i test it again with the same person.
in response to my original question now i have the phone. here is my experience
call quality is also very good. Speaker quality (loudspeaker) for calls was ok, not the best in the world a little tinny, but clear and audible, it doesn’t get super loud but it gets perfectly loud enough for most environments you might use the speakerphone.
i also tested call handover from VoLTE to WiFi Calling and it worked seamlessly without interruption to the call. considering calling is one of the main things for this device, this is excellent. its also very clear on what your using if its VoLTE or WiFi calling.
a note, WiFi calling is disabled by default. you need to go to Settings → Network and Internet → Mobile Network → Advanced → Wi-Fi Calling → (enable) Use Wi-Fi Calling
if you dont do this, you will use VoLTE indoors which may reduce call quality depending on your signal strength (or if you have signal at all in remote areas )

So i suspect case on the phone is being the issue here, when i took the case off my friend instantly said i sound better and louder.
