Hello, I don’t know if this has been brought up before but I only get a notification on the screen for calendar event but no actual sound notification to alert me when I have a calendar event is anybody else having the same issue ? I checked the volume and I get sound notifications for the alarm ,texts And calls except for the calendar events .

Hmm. I do get a ding (its the same sound as other random notifications, not a tone you can set like SMS), but I also use a 3rd party calendar. There are also hidden notification settings you can change for all apps (where you could possibly set a custom tone), but you would also need a 3rd party app to access it (like Activity Manager | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository).

Yes, no sound notification for calendar events. Only the screen display notification.

I definitely get a sound notification when my events come up. Do you have all your notifications turned off?
Which calendar do you use? I use proton calendar and I don’t get any notifications:(

@anaspeltbackwards I just realized, you have to turn off Battery Optimization for any calendar app you want notifications from.
