I tried using the Kompakt’s stock calendar to see if I could somehow make it work for me.
By default, I don’t use the 5-minute reminder. Weird enough, I get reminders anyway, also for events where I really did not put it. Am I the only one with this bug? I haven’t seen it mentioned.

You have this setting turned off, BUT you are still getting this 5min reminder?
@urszula I have that setting turned off, and I’m still getting a reminder. Not a 5 minute reminder, but on the hour itself.
