When I try to send a file from my Mac via bluetooth to Kompakt (paired) it fails with no information on Kompakt, however there is a system sound on Kompakt.
On my Mac I get this:

Im not sure about macs but maybe try connecting by usb and trasfer anything to kompakt first to accept it on both sides and maybe then it will stay as an accepted device so you could use bluetooth transfer?

Not sure but worth a try i guess.

I do not have issues with USB transfer, the thread is about BT
It’s accepted on both sides (BT)

Our team has informed me that file transfer is not supported via Bluetooth.

It would seem that mostly none of the function that should work normally on any kind of OS, with Mudita OS seems not to be working. You guys need to seriously work on getting this OS at least functional for basic functions like folder viewer, file transfer and what not. The transfer does not work from Android as well. There is a notification sound and nothing is awailable for what these notifications are… In this regard none of the notification are available except for the SMS as I have heard several times now a notification which I did not know what it was for… some kind of window with system notifications would be helpful for instance…

@fivestarjedi Thank you for the feedback. I will pass it on to the team. Yes, you’re right, currently file transfer is not supported via Bluetooth, but our team is working on it. As for the notifications, Mudita Kompakt does not have a notifications tray & our team tells me it’s intentional.

That is not app notifications but system notifications, as when the file is sent the sound is being played like when receiving a message, although there is nothing to press or acknowledge what the sound is playing for.

When there was an Mudita OS update to 1.2. there was a notification on the top of the panel to press it and open up the update progress… So that was not intentional as well and whywas there a notification for that if no notifications is intentional?

BTW, after this update camera is not working. Ebooks app finds all kinds of files that are in the folders with music, that is almost impossible to navigate as there is even no search function… As in the music app, the things stay the same, no change or upgrade. In case I have 3.765 music files in the memory, nicely sorted by the folders, in this app I can see listed all of them and have to go through manually forever…

The touch screen is so sensitive it keept calling emergency number, but it is not sensitive enough when scrolling through the previously mentioned list of music files on the phone… Is, mildly saying retardness of whole phone OS also intentional? In case I wanted that kind of basic phone, I would buy some that grannies use that have almost no functionallity of the phone, rather than some kind of designer hipster good looking feature that doesn’t serve for anything other than for calling and receivinge SMS.

by the way

@fivestarjedi Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We completely understand how frustrating this experience must be, especially after an update that you hoped would ideally improve things.

For the camera:
Have you tried this:
Go to System → Developer options → Privacy and toggle the “Camera access” radio button.

I’ll have to check with the team about these issues, because I need some feedback from the team regarding the more technical stuff.
