I have read (maybe here on the Forum?) that even simply the presence of a powered-off cellphone in a bedroom can interfere with the sleep of someone who knows that the cellphone is there, even if it is far from the sleeper.
A “powered-off” Apple iPhone is still on, as Rob Braxman, for example, has documented. I am referring to TRULY-powered-off cellphones.

@kirkmahoneyphd Yeah. 100% Just the presence of a phone can trigger anxiety in some people. There’s also the phantom vibration syndrome- which is very real.
