Actually I had also had this same experience with the e-ink ghosting seem worse and more aggressive than before the update.

I noticed this screenshot in the announcement shows two different Lock Screen notifications: one for unread SMS and one for unread âmessagesâ.
Does anyone know what the difference here is? Would be great if this could be associated with other apps (i.e. WhatsApp), but Iâm assuming thatâs not the case.

I am liking all of the new updates in the new software version. I would like to request a couple of features for future updates. It would be great to have some sort of quick camera launch from the lock screen (like double clicking the power button for example). I have kids and it would be a lot more useful to pull up the camera right away before a moment is lost without having to open up the phone and go into the menu. Also, it would be very useful to have business info displayed like phone number, hours of operation, etc. in either the maps app when searching for a location, or a completely separate directory app. I would feel complete freedom from the internet while traveling if I had that tool.

Did the addition of an option to sideload apks using Mudita Center come with a way to uninstall apks from the Kompakt either on the device or using Mudita Center?

There are several update comments about e-ink ghosting being worse with the update. Can Mudita provide some insight into whether this is accurate, inaccurate, limited to side-loaded apps, whatever info is available.
The upgrade content looks really nice and comprehensive. Hopefully the e-ink did not fall through the cracksâŚ

Hello, I have a big issue, the SMS app no longer lets me open texting threads. Instead, it prompts me to force close the app, and this happens every time I try to text someone. It also wonât let me delete existing ones because I canât get the thread to stay open without it asking me to force close.

Just started happening to me too. Hope this gets fixed/has a fix pretty quickly here. For now I sideloaded QUIK SMS just in case we do not get a fix need to readily receive texts from work or anything ( I know I do!). QUIK SMS | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository

I have a persistent notification on my lock screen saying that I have 1 unread SMS, and the counter on the SMS icon when I unlock the phone says â1â all the time, and I do not have any unread texts. I even deleted all of my text messages and the â1â is still there as well as the notification on the lock screen.
UPDATE: New software version day 2- the persistent notification on my lockscreen about a new SMS still remains, but now my notification sound keeps chiming for a new SMS, and I havenât received any new ones. Also, the counter is going up, I am now at 4 new SMS messages both on the lock screen and on the counter on the app icon.
UPDATE: New software day 3- my unread SMS lock screen notification and icon counter now both say 5 and I still do not have any unread text messages. I turn on Offline mode at night and turn it off in the morning, and the counter seems to increase when I turn Offline mode off in the morning.
@urszula please pass this along to the dev team to fix the bug.

Yeah. I just used the Mudita Center to install an apk and noticed you can uninstall them from there as well

Unless you use your Kompakt for music, I donât really notice much of a difference- except for some quality of life improvements I appreciate such as no logo on the lock screen and not having to swipe up to get into the phone,

I tried this option (uninstalling the apk through the mudita center) but it did not work for me. The app is still on the kompakt
