On the one hand it’s $400 for pillows, on the other hand I really want it…

@ArmchairSetup I’d like to think of it less as “paying for pillows” and more as investing in yourself. Because sometimes the most valuable things are the ones that help us do a little less, a little more intentionally. And give us some room to just be.

@urszula, can you comment on the value of “Oasis-style” sitting? It looks uncomfortable to me.

When it comes to meditation, posture is key because it physically aligns the body to strike a balance between relaxation and alertness. A stable, upright posture prevents physical strain, optimizes breathing, and quiets the mind, allowing the person meditating to sustain focus without falling asleep or succumbing to restlessness.

The idea behind Mudita Oasis is to maintain comfort while, at the same time, helping you maintain that posture. For me, I have an issue with my hips & when my knees just hang there, it causes strain in the joint (hip/leg) area. Those knee supports are amazing.
I’ve tried zafu-type cushions- the round ones that taper off on the sides & I just slide off them. It’s not comfortable. Mudita Oasis, on the other hand, is just perfect.

@urszula The Oasis cushions are beautifully designed but I have a question about the inside. Do the buckwheat inserts have a zipper so I can refill them when the buckwheat hulls become too flat/old, loose their firmness (which unavoidably happens after many sits)? Perhaps you can tell since I don’t think it is mentioned on the product / spec pages?

Many thanks!

@Stollie I will ask & get back to you.

@Stollie The project manager got back to me yes the inside can be replaced. They have zippers so you can take the cover off.

@urszula Thank you for your swift reply but I’m afraid I meant something else. My question is related to the inserts not the (outside) cover. Do the inserts have zippers so I can refill them with new buckwheat hulls when the time comes to replace them? I don’t want to replace the complete inserts but just refill them. Hope this makes sense. Otherwise a picture of an insert with a zipper will do as well

Yes  you can replace the buckwheat inserts as well.

@urszula Can you please look at the pics attached and tell me if the Oasis has the same system? So please just confirm that the inserts have a zipper so I can refill them myself with buckwheat hulls instead of replacing the full insert. I don’t want to order if this is not clear, sorry for my persistence on this point but I have been unpleasantly surprised in the past with bespoke meditation cushions. Thank you. (an additional pic that shows the insert zipper of the Oasis would be really beneficial)

I just confirmed that THE INSERTS themselves have side zippers & the buckwheat itself can be replaced.
